Cara Murphy

Cara has been a familiar face around the Melbourne House Music scene for over 15 years, falling in love with Classic House in local haunts such as Q Bar, 161 and Saratoga early on then expanding her music taste into more of the underground scene which quickly evolved into a strong love for Progressive/Melodic House and Organic House.

Although not entirely new to DJ’ing having dabbled in some mobile gigs in the early 2000’s, 2021 was her first year playing the music she truly loves in clubs/bars and her passion for these tunes really show through in her mixes.

So far this venture has taken off with a bang having landed residencies at OneSixOne, Pawn & Co, The Social, The Emerson, Sky Disco, Doest Matter Melbourne & Storyville along with regular guest spots across many other clubs. In 2022/23

Cara played on the Melbourne legs of the Defected tour and Glitterbox tour, supported the likes of Anthony Pappa, Low Steppa, Luuk Van Dijk, Mees Salome, M.A.N.DY and Sasha/Khen at Piknic NYD 2023 and also became an ARIA club chart panellist.
